After being wrongfully incarcerated for more than 23 years, Ricky turned unimaginable hardship into an unshakable mission to help others unlock their own strength, purpose, and potential. While in prison, he served in numerous leadership roles, mentoring others and refusing to give up on justice. Today, Ricky inspires organizations and individuals across the country to overcome burnout,
embrace resilience, and move from where they are to where they want to be.
His message has been featured by leading companies including Lockton, WisdomTree, and the American Fraud Association, and he’s served on the Innocence Network Executive Board and the Kansas City DA’s Community Advisory Board. Outside of his powerful presentations, Ricky is a spoken word artist, author, hiker, family man, and advocate for positive change.
